Bub McCool Masters the Bullring for First Win of 2015

Vicksburg, MS (05/06/15) – In just his third race of the year Bub McCool piloted the McCool Logging #57J RBT Motorsports/Club 29 Race Car/Jay D ickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $2,500 win on Saturday evening at Columbus Speedway.

Bub McCool dominated the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for his first win of 2015.
McCool started the night by setting fast time in qualifications, and then he won the dash to lock into the pole position for the feature. In the 50 lap, $2,500-to-win event McCool wired the field to score the triumph. Rick Rickman, Chad Thrash, David Breazeale, and Jason Cliburn completed the top five finishers.

“We put this new team together in the off-season, and I can’t thank Randy Thompson enough for giving me this opportunity,” noted McCool. “This win is for him, and hopefully it’s the first of many to come this year. We’ve got a really awesome car, that’s for sure.”

The upcoming weekend, May 8th-9th will see McCool again in action in his home state as he takes part in a pair of events that will be co-sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models and the MSCCS Super Late Models.
