View Full Version : Best driver under 24 in your state?

Just curious as to who some of you think will be the ones to beat in your area for years to come.

In Georgia I've got two. I'll go with Brandon Overton and Donald McIntosh.

Not my state, but impressed with Cruz Skinner in Alabama, and he's only 13

Good thread. In West Virginia, I would say Jacob Hawkins and Derek Doll. Both are 24 years old. Tyler Carpenter is pretty good too.

Dustin Linville is about the only bigger name driver that young around Kentucky.

I guess in Nebraska it would probably start with Tad Pospipal in Super Late Models. Picked up a new Black Diamond and had a very impressive outing in the first weekend in it at I-80, 6th and 2nd. Intentions are to dethrone Kyle Berck in the SLMR series this year. Hopefully in 2016 venture out alittle bit more with MLRA.

Other guys I would throw in there..... Brian Kosiski and Jase Kaser.

Devin is a very good pic. Has above average talent, and smart. He's a clean driver.

Hoping to see this kid in person sometime. The few videos I've seen of him I was impressed. Thought he had the fastest car at the MARS opener @ Springfield, but caught a few bad breaks including a caution that hurt him while he was leading. Maybe he comes up this way for SDN's V in July?

Since no one from Florida has chimed in yet, how about Tyler Clem, the 12 y/o out of St. Petersburg, FL. Not sure if he'll stick with dirt racing, but if he does he's gonna be good.

Not my state, but impressed with Cruz Skinner in Alabama, and he's only 13 I just looked him up. He's leading the NE Smith Young Guns Challenge series points over Tyler Clem. I watched a couple of videos of him. Impressive indeed!

I agree with Wet and Tacky. The Rice brothers will be a couple names from KY that you will hear for years to come.

Im with you! Bobby Pierce is good don't get me wrong but If I had a team and I wanted a young stud driver driving my car Brandon's cell phone would be ringing off the hook!

Tyler has made BIG progress this year. You gotta hand it to his dad, Bubba, for forming an alliance with Mark Whiteners team. It just goes to show you, that you have to have good equip and setups to really show what a driver can do!
