Jeff Taylor Tames Batesville Modified Field for First Win of ‘15
Cave City, Arkansas (05/13/15) – Starting on the tail of the field was no challenge for Jeff Taylor in his Industrial Electric #5 Allgayer, Inc/Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified on Friday evening at Batesville Motor Speedway, where he raced to his first win of 2015.
Jeff Taylor made the last minute decision to enter a Weekly Racing Series Event at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) on Friday evening. It proved to be a good choice as he scored his first win of 2015.
Competing in his first event since February, Jeff stormed from the tail of the field to score the IMCA Modified feature win. Richie Tosh, Mark Norris, Mark Ellis, and Brian Ritchie rounded out the top five finishers.
“Between rain and building race cars, we just haven’t had much of a chance to race this year,” said Taylor. “We are finally getting caught up at the shop so hopefully Mother Nature will do her part to let us race.”

The upcoming weekend, May 15th-17th, will see Jeff competing in a trio of Modified events in North Dakota. Friday night will find the team at Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota), while the team will invade Southwest Speedway ((not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)inson, North Dakota) on Saturday. The weekend is slated to draw to a close at Nodak Speedway (Minot, North Dakota) on Sunday evening.
