Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Farmer City May 22, FALS May 23, and LaSalle May 24!

Glasgow, KY-May 16, 2015- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will close out the month of May in a big way with a three-race weekend in the Land of Lincoln as the tour will visit Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL on Friday May 22 for $1,500 to win, Fairbury’s American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, IL on Saturday May 23 for the $2,064 to win 2nd Annual Gary Cook, Jr. Memorial, and make its first-ever visit to LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, IL on Sunday May 24 for a $1,500 to win event.

The tour’s visit to Farmer City Raceway will be its third official event at the track, with previous winners including Jeff Leka of Buffalo, IL (2013) and Jacob Poel of Spring Lake, MI (2014), as a second visit in 2014 was rained out. At FALS, it will be the tour’s fourth visit, with previous winners including Jeff Curl of Fairbury, IL (2013), Poel (2014), and Mike Harrison of Highland, IL (2014). The trip to LaSalle Speedway will mark the tour’s first ever visit to that track.

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will kick off the 2015 Memorial Day weekend at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL and the event will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and a 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main event. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Farmer City Raceway on Friday May 22 will be the track’s Late Model, Pro Late Model, Street Stock, and Hornet divisions.

Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event at Farmer City Raceway on Friday May 22 will see the pit area and general admission area open 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice set to begin at 6:30 p.m., followed immediately by time trials at 7:00 p.m., and green flag racing at 7:30 p.m. All times listed are Central Daylight Times. Ticket prices for the event at Farmer City Raceway on Friday May 22 in the general admission area will be $12 for adults, while a pit pass will be $30.

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will then visit Fairbury’s American Legion Speedway on Saturday May 23 and the event will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $2,064 to win/$200 to start 2nd Annual Gary Cook, Jr. Memorial A-Main. Other divisions in action with the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at FALS on Saturday May 23 will be the track’s Late Model and Street Stock divisions, along with the $500 to win Eden-Piercy Memorial for Sportsman.

Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event at Fairbury’s American Legion Speedway on Saturday May 23 will see the pit area and general admission area open 3:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., with practice set to begin at 5:50 p.m., followed by time trials at 6:30 p.m., and green flag racing immediately following time trials All times listed are Central Daylight Times. Ticket prices for the event at FALS on Saturday May 23 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, while a pit pass will be $30.

Ticket prices for the event at LaSalle Speedway on Sunday May 24 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, while a pit pass will be $35.
