yea once or twice...lol.....roy salt was a really good anouncer IMO. watterman raced for over 40 years always a hard charger. d1ck french was a hell of a driver in the 23 auto parts car. cj holly was prolly the only guy at atomic to win the championship with no wins. fisher is probably more of a contributor to the sport. inovator and builds a he11 of a motor.

Roy Salt is my favorite announcer of all time far and away, so guys know how it is, wherever you grew up around racing, you just have all of these great childhood memories. Many of mine are being at KC with my dad listening to the great Roy Salt call the evening's action.

lol..."palmer to the flagstand" alright....he was a great announcer. what year did he start announcing at atomic. been going there since 1969. sprintcar champion in 1971 with George harbor driving our car. he is in the hall of fame at atomic...

it was worth the 2 hr. trip to hear roy salt announce again. a little rusty but everything worked out.

Yes, it was a good night. Congrats to R.J. I'm a big Conley fan, but was pretty bummed out when Oliver hit the lapped car who had spun in turn 4. Also that mod crash in turn one was one of the worst crashes I've seen there. Also bummed me out Roy didn't do his signature in car 71, R.J. Conley, Conley in 71.

yes roy did his signature call in the second sprint heat. the regular announcer tried it but kept forgetting about every other car. lol wish they would let roy come back about once a month. yes the mod crash was the worst I've ever saw as far as mod's. it got real quiet after the crash. mod feature was a good one. oliver should have won both...
