Does anyone know if you can watch the race from the infield with a pit pass and if you can is the view any good?

I didn't see anyone down there in the infeild. I would suggest sitting in the grandstand up pretty high. I loved the experience of Charlotte but believe it would be more enjoyable from up high. The pit stands are very crowded and I felt like I was getting sand blasted all night last year.
