2700 # camaro clip 3 link with solid top link eliminator on swingarm left rear shock behind .On right rear eliminator in front shock behind 325 lr spring on swingarm rr spring is 175 first 2 inches of travel then 275 poor mans progressive spring lol.Last year car had spring on top of RR doing that would bow the spring when car got on rr so put it on eliminator in front. Driver says car is lacking forward drive it had last year.Rf spring 1100 lf spring is1000 car has 15 # of bite with driver in car 53.4 rear 52 % left car gets in good rotates good but is little free off under throttle.1st question I think car needs stiffer rf spring which would keep drive in car but what would it do to entry. 2nd question spring on RR in front \on top \ or behind which one would help w\ forward drive .My reasoning for stiffer rf spring car is getting 4 to 5 in of shock travel and dragging nose and skirt on r\side I read somewhere you let rf travel till frame drags or a frame bottoms I ain't sure about that though lol.

That's a pretty common car in the South.I don't have experience with the lr swingarm, but I believe the spring needs to be in the 400lb range. On our 4bar car we ran the following:1100lf,900rf,225lr,250rr...54%left,54-55 rear,125lbs bite.I believe you are getting too much weight transfer to the rf because of the too low of left side weight.I have ran as low as a 800rf but it was close on bottoming amount depending on the track.

I had a 3 link modified a few years ago. We had frt springs in the 800 range. Lr 325 on swing arm with shock behind, RR 175 behind, shock in frt. Try more lr bite, 15# is pretty low. We ran 100# or more.

I can up L\S wgt pretty easy as I have around 100# lead mounted on right frame rail in middle of car .One reason car gets so much wgt transfer to right side is I have moved motor as far as possible to right side also fuel cell is raised to just under deck and and as far forward as possible.

No doubt those cars are lead sleds. We had about 350lbs of lead, as we took a newer lw late model and had a clip put on.I would definitely get rid of the progressive spring on the rr as those can drastically change wheel rates when running over bumps in the track. You could just add 100lbs of bite and try it, but it will probly make the car too free on entry.Thats generally why you have to increase the lf spring to tighten her back up.

Moved lead to increase l/s & rear put 60 pounds of bite in angled top link toward rf by moving it closer to lr car was much better maybe still a little tight in May up bite a little to help free up entry.

Good deal. That extra bite should help with more drive off, too.
