Stroke on lift bar shock??

02 black front rocket, steel block/heads. I've got a couple of the the recommended 7/3 shock valving but curious to know what the stroke is supposed to be on the lift bar. Are there any advantages to running a shorter or longer?

7 in is plenty. 7/3 is std valve but do know that those numbers vary in real world between mfg .

For instance a 7/3 from Afco is not the same profile if you had integra build you a 7/3. Accuforce has a nice build for a 5th coil on the cheap for a black front.

as far as advantages disadvantages . Keep in mind you can only allow the axel to wrap or unwrap so far before you snap the u joints off.
