CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies point leader Richie Stephens of Salem, AL drove the Rocketman Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to two wins in Week 9 competition and stretch his lead to 17 points over Branden Harris of Molino, FL.

Stephens started NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 9 action with his fourth win of the 2015 season on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. The next stop was Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS on Saturday night, where he bagged win number five on the season.

Stephens was looking to win four races in four nights, but that plan came to an end on Sunday night when Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS rained out their NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division feature event with Stephens scheduled to start on the pole. Stephens has 380 points after five wins, seven top five finishes and eight top ten finishes in ten races over eight weeks.

Harris finished ninth on Saturday night at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL driving the Coastal Engine and Machine Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine. Harris has 363 points after two wins, six top five finishes and seven top ten finishes in eight races to hold the second spot in the points chase.

Brooks Strength of Raymond, MS is third in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 348 points after five wins and ten top five finishes in ten races over seven weeks of competition. In the five races that Strength didn’t win, he finished second, as he did on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway, and on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS.

On Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway, Strength drove the Sauls Farm Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine, and in the Saturday night NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division race at Jackson Motor Speedway, Strength drove the Dog House Chassis Chevrolet.

Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS drove the Jarrell Rigged Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to a third-place finish on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway to remain fourth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings. Jarrell has 342 points after five top five finishes and seven top ten finishes in nine races over eight weeks.

John Smartt of Manchester, MS is fifth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 322 points after three wins and seven top five finishes in seven races. Smartt finished fifth on Sunday night at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN driving the Frontline Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Jay Geddie of Ellisville, MS is sixth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 316 points after three top five finishes and seven top ten finishes in seven races driving the Geddie Tree Service Chevrolet. Geddie finished sixth on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway.

Larry Faulk of Monroeville, AL is seventh in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 313 points after three top five finishes and eight top ten finishes in eight races over seven weeks in the Faulk Motorsports Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine. Faulk finished seventh on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park.

David Williamson of Seminary, MS drove the Sauls Farm Ford to a third-place finish on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway to land in the eighth spot of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings. Williamson has 307 points after four top five finishes and five top ten finishes in seven races.

Bo Bailey of Milton, FL is ninth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 301 points after six top five finishes in seven races. Bailey drove the L&L Construction Services Chevrolet to a fourth-place finish on Saturday night at Southern Raceway.

Cliff Childers of Terry, MS drove the Reed’s Metal Racing Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to a ninth-place finish on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway. Childers rounds out the Top 10 of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 275 points after four top five finishes and six top ten finishes in six races.

In other NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 9 action, Calvin Cook of Pace, FL drove the A&P Welding Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to victory on Saturday night at Southern Raceway. Stuart Wilson of Milton, FL took his first win of the season on Saturday night at Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, FL driving the Wilson Lumber Chevrolet powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Steve Pate of Heflin, AL was the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division winner on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL in the Pate Racing Chevrolet. Jeff Butler of Mendenhall, MS drove the B&B Racing Buick to the win on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway. Justin Owens took his first win of the season on Sunday night at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN.
