Every time this race pops up. Somebody has to complain about the car count. It never fails.

Hard on equipment and people just don't wanna race there.Yeah I can see this specially when the dream is right around the corner. wreck or damage your car or motor and do the same with your back up car. you going working your but off getting it back together. unless you are lucky to have 4-6 cars in the shop, it wouldn't matter.

Heat 3 6 cars
Heat 4 5 cars.

These are what's listed according Lucas Oil FB page. I'm guessing there was scratch for Heat 4.

Heard a lot of good things about this high banked bull ring, always wanted to see it. Are the fans getting their moneys worth with such a short car count? Is there value seeing the stars of Lucas , keeping in mind the price of a ticket in the $30 range?

Considering every time Lucas and WoO have been there it's been standing room only despite the low car counts for a long time now.

I would answer your question with a resounding YES.

One of our local tracks had a WoO Sprint show about 5 years ago. 1/3 high bank track. 18 cars showed up...... And literally not a place to sit in that entire place.

Taz is on my bucket list as well. As far as moneys worth, you,re definitely seeing less racing and only 6 car heats. 30 bucks would be a lil pricey. Went back and checked car count for WoO race earlier this year. Only 26. Heck, the MLRA event in South Dakota had 30. That's South Dakota:rolleyes:

Thought about making the short drive up there. But the consistent threat of rain this afternoon made me change my mind. 30 cars for Park Jeff is absolutely awesome!!! They haven't had a regional touring race since the old Busch All Star/WDRL days and even then they probably were only getting 25-30 cars back then.

In 2007 our local 1/4 mile bull ring put on a $15 K to win and $1000 to start race. Bloomer,Moran,Birky, the Millers ( Matt, Darren) Jeep were there. 18 travelers and the rest of the 24 car field was made up from local IMCA drivers. Needless to say, the 6 locals made out pretty good. Each pocketed a grand by default.
The place was packed but rain forced a shortened feature. Jeep won over Matt Miller. I felt shorted because rain came at lap 70 something and the traveler loaded up and got the he!! out of town.

Pearson shows why they don't get very many cars.

The TAZ is on list of tracks I want to go to, even if it does only get 20 cars. That place has to be awesome for a fan.

you just can't fix stupid can you I am talking about the woo sprint crowdAren't you just Captain Obvious. You must have on spell check or auto-correct, because you have never been able to form a sentence even this half-a$$ good.

And if I had a weekend off and could go, I'd dam sure go see the All Stars or WoO sprints. It's dirt track racing, and some of the best racing I've seen is sprints.
