(Carnesville, Georgia) 5/29/15 – The Toccoa Raceway 5/16 mile facility located just a short drive off I-85 in downtown Toccoa, Georgia is steeped with history. It’s the longest running active track in the “Peach State”. This year marks its 60th Anniversary of speed. Most of all the stars and cars of the FASTRAK Racing Series Southeast Touring Division will make a return to the speedway after a 2 year absence on Saturday June 6th.
The last FASTRAK Touring event held was in the summer of 2013 and 4 Time Southeast champion David Smith from Inman, SC was the winner of the race. Toccoa Raceway now under the operation of Mike Davision is excited to be bringing back the tour for a $2,000 to win $250 to start show, off the heels of the biggest successful FASTRAK Triple Crown. The three race events offered great car counts, spiked the biggest attendance records at each speedway and offered phenomenal racing during last Memorial Day weekend.
In addition SPORTS MEDIA NET will be broadcasting the race coverage for the Toccoa Raceway for those who can’t be in attendance or live to far away to travel for just $4.99 you can see awesome clear video production for a great cost.
