Is Moyer having his worst season in recent memory? I know he won a few in Florida but he has not shown much since. Will he make the Dream field? I'm not a fan of his in anyway but I rank him as the greatest of all time, so kinda weird seeing him struggle. Any thoughts?

He seemed to be pretty solid before the show-me got rescheduled ? He is at Eldora for the first time in a new chassis, he starts outside secound row right next to Davenport. Yes i know there was an invert but lets see how this new chassis lines out being its the first one he has been apart of with his 100% input/control over . Id say give him a couple months, hell he is starting two rows ahead of josh richards .......

I'm not worried. I just don't like to see the greats struggle. Takes away from their legacy. Go out on top.... he wins a big race at eldora this year, I say he retires.

I would be just as happy to see Billy win tonight as I would if Bloomer did.

I would like to see Billy win but it would be even better to to Erb or JD or someone you wouldn't expect

Keep in mind , he's not getting any younger...things are bound to slow down a little when you get his age....

They all have some valleys in their career. I've never been a Moyer fan but I have always considered him one of the best of all time. If I went to a race and saw the 21 or the 18 or the 99 I just assumed one of those three would win it. Like I said I'm not a fan but I seem to remember him having some down years in the early 2000's maybe. I know I saw him at Volunteer and a couple of other races in a 2-3 year span and he ran somewhere mid pack...like 8th to 12th in all of those races. It was notable because he's Billy Moyer. I always expect him to be one of the top dogs if he's at the track.

Barbecuedouche, did he really blame the track????

Yes , he did.........something to the effect of "officials had no business sending us out there on a track like that".

Punk statement from a legendary driver........came off as amateurish and whiney IMO.

I thought the same thing, no one else seemed to have trouble. I think he stepped on something besides the gas pedal and had to come up with a Bloomer type excuse

Lame excuse by Moyer. Never liked him because of his comments like this.
