Rumor has it Bowyer is looking at Brian Gray?

NormP
06-06-2015, 08:29 PM
you think he keeps that ride after this year if he dont get it going in the right direction?

He's my favorite driver but I hope he leaves that team. I wish he had left sooner. Look how the previous guys did in that ride, compared to what they did before and after. No one seems to win in it, and I'm not sure what the difference is between that one and O'neal's but he seems to be fine. I wonder if it's because Lance Wright runs O'neal's side. Francis had 8-9 wins with BWRC with Lance working on the car the year before they teamed up with Bowyer, including a couple of big races like Knoxville and the Topless. Since then I think he's won maybe 1 a year with a couple different crew chiefs?

Anyway, I hope the feature tonight is multi-grooved and the Rice boy shocks everyone.

mud duck
06-06-2015, 08:30 PM
Norm I think your right. I can see him leaving even if Bowyer doesn't ask for him back.

How do you come up 25lbs light in a 100000 race??? JD deserves it with that questionable caution, Satterlee spinning and I don't know what Owens was doing going into one!!

Man i would hate to think that i lost a $100,000 race by being 25lbs light at the scales..... and yes JD pulled off the hat trick this weekend 3 for 3 even though with the questionable caution he still pulled away to a sizeable lead and then satterlee spins and causes that last caution and im not quite sure wtf owens was doing either.... maybe trying to help his buddy bloomquist out lol

It's racing, you shouldn't be handed anything. You either win or you don't, and because someone can't scale a car, or sharpen a pencil, he gave it away. And Davenport was certainly there to be on the receiving end of Bloomers screw up.

THOUGHT'S
It would not surprise me if #28 Dennis Erb Jr. is a big factor in the World 100 in September.

He looked good this weekend.

Congrats to #6 JD on his BIG ELDORA WIN.

Good run for #1 Earl Pearson Jr. to start 18th and finish 3rd.

ALSO have to mention a BIG Shout out to #11jr Josh Rice on his impressive 1st start in the Dirt Late Model DREAM

I know 15 laps compared to 100 is a big difference but so is 25 lbs on a car. A team of that caliber knows what will burn off in a long race. Could some weight have fallen off or been taken off to be moved and forgot to be replaced.

He will be soooooo pi$$$ed that I bet he comes back in September and laps the field twice. I still don't get how you can knowingly run 100 laps and put that wear and tear on an engine and chassis throw in the biggest purse and still not make (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) sure you have plenty of weight to be legal. But, again even the biggest Bloomer fans that saw the last 11 laps of that race and what all transpired. They would still say JD deserved that win.

Forget the questionable caution, if Jimmy O wouldn't have been wondering around like a deer in headlights going into turn one, JD would have put a move on Ol Bloomer that probably made him madder than being lite at the scales. Maybe Owens ran over the 25 lb weight that Bloomer lost?

Him and Tim Logan need to team up and race a wide regional deal and some of the biggies. After expenses and winnings the bottom line probably be bigger than racing a Lucas or WoO! :D

Looks like Logan went with Davey J.
