Continuing the 2015 racing season, Mark Whitener and Big Frog Motorsports made the trip to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) for the Mike Peters Open. Friday night’s program was hosted by the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS), paying $3,000 to the feature winner. The following night took Big Frog Motorsports to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) for another UDLMCS event. After setting the quick time in qualifying, Mark Whitener won his heat race. After starting 4th in the finale, Mark powered his Late Model into victory lane for the Powell Memorial A-Main. In addition to the $5,000 top prize, Whitener collected $350 for setting fast time and $200 for being the leader at the feature’s halfway mark. The team’s third win of the season came ahead of Kyle Bronson, Ivenent Lloyd, Tyler Clem and Tyler Crowder.

“It’s been a few months since we’ve been in victory lane so to do it in the richest series event of the year feels awesome,” said Whitener. “I want to thank Big Frog Motorsports, our sponsors, and fans for their great support.”
