Setting ride heights with LR shock disconnected?

do any of you set your ride heights with the LR and RF shock disconnected? Because of the amount of rebound in my RF and the compressing and lack of rebound in LR, I find it hard to get ride heights consistant.

i disconnect my LR and both front shocks whenever I do any setup work.

Yes I always take lr off. Just started taking both fronts of a few weeks ago also.
