I'm not a practicing psychologist or behavioral coach but I can say with common sense fueling my thoughts that you can change if you feel a need to. If NASCAR and your peers there are important to you some changes in your life may help you find comfort amongst those who you feel attached to deep enough to where their opinions matter so intensely. Personally, I'd not care if they liked me or not but you are you so change or don't.

When Scott took the sway bar off...if it had worked, it would have been a huge shot in the arm for Dirt Racing... Because it failed miserably, nascar people think of Scott as a joke... During the Dream, I was talking to my buddy who works on the #4 KBM truck and I told him about Scott being light and he said "that's crazy... You would think he would know better, but again we are talking about the same moron that took the sway bar off at Eldora..." He then laughed... I know Scott being light wasn't Scott's mistake, but defiantly a mistake by someone on the team...

My point is, outside of our Dirt Late Model world... Scott's accomplishments mean d1ck... Most of the nascar people don't understand our world, and they never will... All NASCAR people know about Scott is his dumb mistake at Eldora during the first truck race, and that won't really change... First impressions are never forgotten... And his first impression kinda of made the Dirt Late Model nation looks like idiots... :-/

You do realize Bloomer has a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Calculating spring rates with or without a sway bar is basic math. Bet the farm on it and you'll be looking for a new place to grow your crops or graze your herd!

Exactly MB! I bet most on here, don't know he ran 2 asphalt races for a team that had strong Cup ties. He finished 1st in one and 2nd in another. Then, during negotiations for a Busch ride with the same team, the amount of money was far short of what he was making driving dirt. I don't think he's too worried what the NasCRAP world thinks of him!
