2nd Annual Modified Street Summer Shootout awaits Tri-County drivers June 19th

BRASSTOWN, NC (June 17, 2015)—The Tri-County Race Track located in Brasstown, N.C. will get back to business this Friday Night June 19th for the running of the Second Annual Modified Street Summer Shootout as the Interstate Welding Supply-sponsored division will race for $800-to-win. Booger Brooks is the defending winner of this event.
A special event for the Pony division paying $400-to-win sponsored by American Racer South will also headline a full racing program at the Ray Cook-promoted track this Friday Night. The Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Crate Late Models and Street Stocks will all be on the racing card this Friday Night.
In addition to the race car action, there will be Men’s Foot Races (21 and older) with a Green/White/Checkered event around the Bullring of Tri-County Race Track. $100 plus a trophy will go to the winner plus there will be other prizes and giveaways for the Dad’s as TCRT celebrates Father’s Day Weekend. Also, Dad’s will get fed at the concession stand during this special event.
On Friday June 19th the pit gates open at 4:00 pm, the grandstand gates open at 5:00 pm with the Driver’s Meeting slated for 7:00 pm and racing to begin at around 7:30 pm. Adult General Admission is $12.00 with children ages 11-16 admitted for $6.00 while children ten and under are free. Adult Pit Passes are $25.00 while children ages 11-16 admitted for $15.00 while children ten and under are free.
