CARTERSVILLE, GA – Make your plans to be at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday night, June 27 for the second appearance of America’s first “Factory Backed and Factory Built” dirt late model series, the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series featuring race cars powered by Chevrolet Performance CT 525 Engines in a 50-lap $3,000-to-win $300-to-start race.
Fans are encouraged to get to 411 Motor Speedway early to get their favorite seat, as the place was packed for the Chevy Super Series’ first visit of the season on March 21. The fans that night were treated to seeing a remarkable performance by the defending Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series National Champion Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN.
Johnson started 23rd and at the tail of starting field for the 50-lap main event on March 21. After working his way through the field taking the action three and four-wide, Johnson took the lead on lap 35 and captured the win in the season opener. More of the same three and four-wide racing that brings the fans out to see the Chevy Super Series in big numbers will be happening again on June 27.
The Chevrolet Performance CT 525 Engine is a racing version of the LS3 Engine that is found in the production Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, and Chevrolet SS.
