NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader will race at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway during the 4th Annual USCS “Rumble at the Ridge” on Thursday, July 2nd.
Atlanta, GA - 6/28/15 - NASCAR veteran driver, frequent TV motorsports commentator and legendary dirt track racer, Ken Schrader will travel from his racing shop in Concord, North Caolina to compete in the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modified portion of the 4th annual USCS “Rumble at the Ridge at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway in Paragould, Arkansas on Thursday, July 2nd. Schrader, who has three previous wins in USCS Modified Series competition will be making his first ever appearance at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway.
Schrader will wheel his potent Federated Auto Parts sponsored #9 open wheel modified racer on Thursday night against a list of the best racers in the Mid South all of whom are trying to be first to the www.rockauto.com USCS victory lane in the fifth series race of the season.
The K&N Filters USCS Modified drivers are joined on Thursday’s racing card by the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars and the track’s Late Models. An action-packed racing card is promised in every division plus Fireworks throughout the evening.
Schrader has 970 starts in NASCAR’s top three divisions including 763 NASCAR Sprint Cup and formerly Winston Cup division. He semi-retired from the Sprint Cup Series at the end of 2013, but will race selected ARCA events and concentrate on his dirt track racing this season as he did in 2014
