Delmas Conley Back in PRP Victory Lane; Conley’s Gear Up for Huge Holiday Weekend!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley stood tall in victory lane for the sixth time in 2015 on Saturday evening, June 27 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! Delmas timed in fifth fastest during the qualifying session prior to picking up the win in the fast dash. After starting the weekly main event from the pole position, Delmas led from flag-to-flag in the headliner to pocket the $2,000 payday over Chris Garnes, Rod Conley, Brandon Fouts, and Jake Keaton!

Rod Conley ran second in his heat race and later started the feature from the fifth row. "Hot Rod" then stormed to the front at PRP to claim the podium finish. His brother R.J. Conley was also in action on Saturday, but his evening was spoiled by mechanical troubles. R.J. set Fast Time in qualifying and finished sixth in the dash, but unfortunately broke the yoke on the transmission while running second in the A-Main, which dropped the Wheelersburg, Ohio native to a disappointing twenty-second place performance. Full results from Portsmouth Raceway Park can be viewed online at www.portsraceway.com.

One of the busiest race weekends of the year will greet the Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams from July 2-4, as they plan to enter high-profile events in the states of Kentucky and Ohio. Rod and R.J. Conley will kick off the hectic weekend on Thursday evening, as they venture south to 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky for the inaugural running of the ‘Bob Miller Memorial.’ The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will preside over the single day shootout and a $10,000 top prize will be on the line.

On Friday night, Delmas, Rod, and J.T. Conley will then turn their focus to Atomic Speedway near Alma, Ohio for a regular weekly Super Late Model program, which will once again boast a $2,000 winner’s check. The huge holiday triple shot will then conclude with all four CMI drivers in action on Saturday at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will once again sanction the $10,000 to win ‘Independence 50’ at PRP.
