Ponderosa Speedway Wishes Everyone a Happy Fourth of July!
Ponderosa Speedway will be closed Friday July 3 for the Lincoln County Fair, but is set to return to action with the 15th Annual Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial event on Friday July 10. Ponderosa Speedway would like to wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July and make it a fun and safe weekend celebrating America’s birthday.
Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial Set for Friday July 10!
The 15th Annual Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial will take place at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday July 10 and will feature the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models in action, racing for $3,000 to win. Also in competition at the “Junebug” on Friday July 10 will be Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds, Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models, Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cyclones.

Full Racing Program Set for Friday July 17!
Ponderosa Speedway will continue racing action in the month of July with a full racing program on Friday July 17 and the racing card will feature Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models, Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds, Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models, Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cylones in competition in a full regular show.
Full Racing Program Goes Friday July 24; Pete Abell Memorial Now on Saturday July 25!
Ponderosa Speedway will have a doubleheader weekend of racing action on Friday July 24 and Saturday July 25. On Friday July 24, the track will present a full program of racing action that will feature Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models, Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds, Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models, Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cyclones all in racing competition. On Saturday July 25, the 18th Annul Pete Abell Memorial will take place, featuring Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models racing for $3,000 to win and Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win, along with Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models $600 to win, and Four Cylinders will also return for another night of racing action, paying $300 to win (based on eight entries)
Full Racing Program Set for Friday July 31!
Ponderosa Speedway will conclude the month of July with a full racing program on Friday July 31as Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models, Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds, Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models, Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cylones will all be in competition.
Mother Nature Wins Big at Ponderosa Speedway in the Month of June!
Ponderosa Speedway had three events scheduled during the month of June and all three of those scheduled racing program fell victim to Mother Nature as rains on race day resulted in the cancellation and/or postponement of those events. The 5th Annual Weekend Warrior event would be postponed due to inclement weather on Friday June 19 and would be rescheduled for Friday June 26, only to be postponed again due to wet weather conditions. A make-up date for the Weekend Warrior event will be announced at a later date possibly. The 18th Annual Pete Abell Memorial was postponed on Saturday June 20 due to rains and extremely wet grounds and would be rescheduled to Saturday July 25 and pay $3,000 to win for Super Late Models.
