dang, this has to be the worst Hell Tour ever in regards to events run. I've made 5 shows. Normally shoot for 10-12. Mother nature can be cruel sometimes.

Rain has been hard on Florence this year for sure; I want to say 5 rain outs maybe more.

As much rain we are getting in central Illinois today I don't think Macon will be racing on Thursday.

That's true, but when the county the track is in is under a flash flood watch into Thursday and the estimates are up to several inches of rain on top of saturated grounds it's not a good outlook.

Very true, if we get several inches your probably going to be right but, we have to get it first and you know with the weather here in Illinois you never know from minute to minute what's going to happen.

Is it not raining where you are? It's been raining solid for the last 6 hours in Springfield, about 30 miles from the track and the radar is nothing but solid green across central Illinois? On top of it being 57 degrees on July 8, that's just crazy.

I think this is rainout number 7 for Florence this year out of 15 scheduled races. Not a lot of races left on the schedule for Florence so I hope the weather pattern changes now. The season passes were definitely not worth it this year, we'll be losing money on them.

Had too get up and close the window last night it was so cold.. Been raining all day in Champaign. Most of the pits at Macon Has no grass in them so .Think Woodstock and the Nicked girl sliding in the mud....This has too be the wrist Year ever....

Your right Gary. When it rains, the Macon pits are definitely a mud pit. Chances of this race happening are slim to none.:(

If the sun does not come out, warm up and get windy, there won't be any racing in central illinois in the next few days. Sorry

Get some diamond dry and spread it out in the pits to help dry things out faster. To bad this couldn't happen sometimes.

Just checked weather.com. After 2:00 A.M. the forecast looks pretty good for Macon.
The west pits might be ok. The north pits are sure to be a mess. Worse case scenario is some might have to pit in the gravel lot that used to be the south pit or in the grass parking lot next to the west pit area.

Nothing in the rules about minimum amount of races so doubt it.
