Whatever they've found, it's working. And Davenport is getting everything out of it.

Equally impressive........Le Roy Rumley builds the engines and Kevin does about everything else.

I heard that bloomer was at social services this morning making a claim against davenport for the hand prints he made on his a$$.

Yes he has. Just needs to get a better grip on those screwdrivers!

And on the wrenches that tighten up those bolts on the pieces of lead weight.

The thing is he has already had a season that 100s of drivers only dream of but he isn't done yet. I think he will keep racking the wins up this year.

Congratulations to Davenport and crew, enjoy it. not everyone has a year like this. This is history in the making. These runs don't last forever. Luck and superstition or the fickle finger of fate has always started and stopped these runs, but the hard workers seem to be luckier.

Davenport ran off and left them. Awesome performance this weekend. He's won like what, 13 races this year?

Refreshing to see somebody new who's not in that handful of drivers who seem to win every race, year in and year out!

A little luck never hurts either. Like when he jumped the cushion in 4 at the Show-Me and came ever so close to stuffing it in the wall.A couple laps to get back around Jesse Stoval and to get his rythym back and he was back on his way.

In the dlm racing world ,( like most places)Luck is no more than a place where hard work and opportunity meet.

Probably why the hard workers seem the luckiest.

Couldn't agree more!
Hard work, opportunity, and skill level equals consistency and championships. The #6 is prime example. Being a GA resident id love to see both LOLMDS and WoO championships be brought home to GA. Has that ever been done before, both champions having the same home state.? Just curious

The car is hooked up and dialed in that's for sure. What impresses me more is they build their own engines that have the right power band, HP and reliability. They are getting it done in the shop and JD is pretty much just focusing on driving. Working out well for them.

Yep, they are on a heckuva run. Enjoy it, they don't seem to last very long.

I was glad to hear him say that he got beat by Scott at Eldora, but he felt better after beating him at Wheatland.

JD will drive the wheels off that car and Kevin Rumley will have that car topnotch and Leroy rumley will have that motor as good as it gets and you can bet if it will get there jd will put it there he will take more chances than anyone on the track and most the time it pays off he will not set there and ride 2ed or 3rd he will put on a show and you will see them in the winners circle a lot more this year
