I am going to say that Cody Mahony will be there since he made the trip last week. U can confirm Duane Chamberlain now since its on his website. Is Mike Marlar a definite. I sure hope so. Would like to see at least 30-35 cars for this one but dont know if it will happen. They had 22 last week for the 30 lap tune up event. Very interested to see this one and who comes for it.

They had 29 cars last year. I think the Ray Cook involvement and the fact that quite a few tracks are off will propel this event well over 30 cars.

Add Forest, Virginia's Walker Arthur

The Southern All Stars folks seem to be under the impression that the Marlars (Mike and Skylar) will be at Magnolia this weekend. At least they mentioned in their list of "expected" entrants in one of their posts somewhere around here. Seems like a good place for Camaron to drive Rayburn's car.

Maybe the Butterball gets lucky and steals Marlar but I kinda doubt it. Marlar usually runs pretty good at the mag. Guess we will see tonite tho

That's part of the fun of being a Marlar fan. Hardly never know where he's gonna be until day of or until he rolls out on the track like the old days, haha.

I think I saw it on his facebook that he was planning on coming. Not totally sure on that though. He could come run his mod as well if he wanted cuz they are paying mods 1,000 to win tomorrow night as well

Lap traffic made the race quite good for the last 20 laps or so. Also, I think Josh Rice is going to be very good.

Thank God for lap cars. Bailey held up the field from fourth on back and they were all on the same straightaway when Ratliff, Jameson and Marlar caught them. Heck of a finish once the top three caught the tale.

With all the rain we've had you'd think they would've had the track to where it didn't rubber up. Richmond's literally the only track in the Ohio Valley region that has rubbered up running a special in the last month.

Did it actually rubber up? It is naturally a bottom dominant track.

Paradox28

It rubbered up early in the night. Think the amount of overnight rain had them stumped. Track didnt have enough moisture in it due to little watering and too much packing

when boggs got around bailey with a pass on the outside, he was quickly reeling in the leaders, needed a caution in the worst kind of way.

Reason I ask is I see who got the blame (again) on FB then their post disappeared pretty fast never to be seen again

Yep, he was just as fast as the top three I believe. Marlar only got around Boggs when he tried to get around Bailey on the outside and opened the inside for Mike. Anyone that tried the top was dead in the water for the most part.

Does anyone know if Mike Jewell was driving for someone at the butterball? Didn't get to make it this year due to work. Would have been kinda weird though not seeing him in that 9 car. After all he's won that race numerous times.

I didnt see the start of it but several people said boggs got chamberlain out of shape and then he slammed down into skylar marlar going into 1. Skylar had nowhere to go and was doing the right thing on a locked down track. In the end it was just a racing incident. I still dont think boggs had more than what he finished with. Marlar and jameson both worked around bailey in quick fashion.
