Worried a bit about car count being down. Wish they would go back to Old Fans FUND way and get all new guys who haven't been there instead of bringing back same guys all the time (just my opinion)!!

I agree Iowadirt, some of those guys on that list would be there anyways. This is why I do not partake in their endeavors anymore

I also agree with you guys. Need new drivers to attend. Why would you give Moyer money when he will be there anyway?

Thinking they will get 55 cars

I believe the Simpsons have it on their schedules. Isenberg does, too.

That would be awesome if Tyler could make it. Roll in there with his ambulance hauler haha. He could turn some heads out there on the track of course.

Ronnie Lee Hollingworth has it on his schedule now. Great to see Tim Isenberg back out there I wonder if he will be in his classic 9T ride, always liked the look of his car for some reason

Not sure where the Tim Isenberg stuff is coming from but it looks like the final 2 drivers to accept the FANSFund were Brandon Sheppard and Lance Matthees.

Only based off his website...

Yeah.... He released a full schedule before the season that had pretty all Cedar Lake on it. And as each week passes, the previous week gets taken off the schedule.

On the main page it shows his last race was in September 2014.

Just posting what is on the web. I didn't guarantee he would show, just like I didn't guarantee the Simpson's would show.

I don't worry about the car count. I know they will have 28 competitive Lates for the feature. Or enough if they start more than that. And with there Lates as a support class. You gotta love it!!! Hopefully I get to meet some of you 4mers there.

He declined an invite from the FansFund.

Which is understandable, since he is the MARS points leader and they have a race scheduled in Oklahoma on Saturday night.

How many South Dakota drivers will show up?

It seems in the past not a driver makes the pull.

I never really thought about it, but are there really any open late model drivers in South Dakota? And it would be a pretty tough trip for any of the Wissota guys to pull over there and have to compete with the Kaantas, Redetzkes, and Wildungs of the world.

I don't think there is a open late model driver from SD.

I can think of three SD drivers that would hold their one against the guys you mentioned in your post JDZ.

I wonder how many fans drive over to the Nationals as well.

I always see some South Dakota plates. More Noth Dakota I'd say but still some. Tons from Illinois and Iowa

I agree. I like the concept but the Fans Fund could use an adjustment. My suggestion would be 12 drivers total, 2 that haven't been there in 5 years, 4 that haven't been there in 10+ years, and 6 that have never been there.

manwplan: like your idea.

Question: Dan Schielper will not be at Cedar Lake because of a blood clot in his leg. Doctors orders, bed rest. Brian Shirley will drive his car.
Dan is part of Fans Fund, will they allow a different driver to accept the money.... or will they appoint the next driver in line to be part of Fans Fund??

With Lucas Oil off did you really think that he would pass up a chance at 50 grand with the roll he is on???

Becker, Ward, McDonald, Arment, and several others could do well. $2500 to win both nights, but probably 20 cars won't even make the main. Guys like Mars, Diemel, Doar, and Matthees could pull double duty, then you've got all the CLS regulars, who are no slouches. Pretty soon, if you are racing for 4th or 5th place, you could have just stayed home and raced Aberdeen, Huron, and Watertown where everybody makes the main.
