Conley Motorsports, Inc. Eyes Weekend Events at Moler, Atomic, and PRP

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) tackled a pair of Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week specials from July 16-17 at two different Buckeye State ovals. On Thursday evening at Legendary Hilltop Speedway in Marietta, Ohio, Rod Conley was the lone CMI driver in attendance for the $3,000 to win event. "Hot Rod" ran third in his heat race and later wound up eighth in the final rundown of the feature event.

At Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio on Friday night, R.J. Conley joined his brother Rod in the pit area to vie for the $3,000 top prize. R.J. clicked off the second fastest lap during the qualifying session, finished second in his heat race, and later crossed underneath the checkers in the fifth spot in the A-Main. At the conclusion of the race, the Wheelersburg, Ohio hotshoe trailed only victor Devin Moran, Matt Westfall, Zack Dohm, and Tyler Carpenter. Rod also ran second in heat race action, but was involved in an early incident in the main event and settled for a thirteenth place effort. Complete results from both races can be accessed online at www.buckeyelatemodeldirtweek.com.

Two more Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week races will be the focus of three of the CMI drivers on July 24-25. Rod, R.J., and J.T. Conley are all scheduled to unload their equipment at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday night for a $3,000 to win shootout and on Saturday evening at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio for the $5,000 to win miniseries finale. Delmas Conley, on the other hand, plans to invade the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday for a regular weekly show, which boasts a $2,000 payday.
