Tony Jackson Jr. Tops MARS Foes at Springfield
Lebanon, Missouri (07/27/15) –Tony Jackson Jr. padded his advantage atop the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model standings by piloting his Henryetta Ford #56 Black Diamond by Club 29/Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $2,000 victory on Saturday evening at Springfield Raceway.
Returning to action with the Mid America Racing Series (MARS), Tony Jackson Jr. headed to Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) for the $2,000-to-win, Back to School Night 40 feature event on Saturday evening. In a field of twenty-six Super Late Models, Jackson Jr. scored a runner-up finish in his heat to Payton Looney, transferring him into the feature event.
Tony went on to lead all 35 laps of the feature event, recording his fourth victory of the season. Winning a $2,000 payday and his third MARS victory of the year, Tony Jackson Jr. was trailed by Brantlee Gotschall, Shane Essary, Jason Hughes, and Justin Wells to the finish line.
“It was a pretty flawless night for our team,” commented Jackson Jr. “We are focused on not only winning races, but also another series crown so nights like this one really go a long way toward achieving our goals.”

The upcoming weekend, July 31st-August 1st, will take the tour into battle in a pair of Mid America Racing Series (MARS) programs.
