Brandon Kinzer Amasses Pair of Top Fives and Four Top Tens in Busy Stretch of Racing

(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Kinzer Motorsports ventured to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio and Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky from July 21-25 for four Super Late Model special events. Things kicked off at the "Big E" on Tuesday night with a $2,000 to win American Late Model Series (ALMS) showdown. Brandon Kinzer placed fourth in his heat race prior to advancing up to ninth in the 25-lapper. On Wednesday in the 'Mud Summer Classic' at Eldora, Brandon ran fifth in his heat race and later moved past six competitors in the A-Main to claim a solid seventh place showing in the $2,000 to win main event.

Over the weekend, the #18 team competed in a pair of unsanctioned shootouts at Ponderosa, each of which paid $3,000 to the winner. On Friday evening, BK won his heat race, started from the pole in the 35-lap headliner, and eventually wound up a strong third in the 'Junebug Rowland Memorial' behind only victor Dustin Linville and runner-up Michael Chilton. In Saturday's 'Pete Abell Memorial,' the Allen, Kentucky ace finished second in his heat race and fifth in the feature behind only race winner Dustin Linville, Michael Chilton, Justin Rattliff, and Skylar Marlar. Complete results from both facilities can be accessed online at www.eldoraspeedway.com and www.ponderosaspeedway.net.

As if that wasn’t enough racing, Brandon and Kinzer Motorsports descended upon Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Tuesday evening, July 28 for a visit by the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series. Brandon qualified seventh quickest in his group during qualifying and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his consolation race. After rolling off from the inside of the ninth row in the $3,500 to win main event, BK was the first retiree in the 35-lapper and was placed twenty-third in the final rundown.
