CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series competitors are set to race for $10,000-to-win on August 21-22 at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA. The 75-lap main event will be the second jewel of the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Triple Crown of $10,000-to-win races.
Walker Arthur of Forest, VA won the rain delayed $10,000-to-win 10th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race on January 31 at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL, where the third $10,000-to-win race of the season for the series will be held on November 20-21 with the $10,000-to-win 11th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race.
The August 21-22 race at Golden Isle Speedway will feature Qualifying and Heat Races on Friday, August 21 to set the front half of the main event starting field, and B-Main Races will be held before the big show on Saturday, August 22 to set the back half of the field for the second $10,000-to-win race of the season for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series.
The August race will be the third event of the season for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series at Golden Isles Speedway. Matt Henderson of Loudon, TN and Rodgerick Dykes of Smith Station, AL won Rounds 4 and 5 on February 14 and 15. The NeSmith Late Models will make a fourth and fifth GIS appearance on October 16-17 for a pair of Showdown On The Coast $2,500-to-win races.
