Coca-Cola Fan Appreciation and Back to School Nickel Night This Friday at Tri-County Race Track

BRASSTOWN, NC (August 10, 2015)—Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, N.C. will be back in action this Friday Night August 14th with the running of the annual Back to School Nickel Night plus Coca-Cola of Bryson City, N.C. will present the Customer and Fan Appreciation Night.
Race fans will be greeted with a reduced admission price this Friday night of only $7.00 per adult general admission grandstand ticket as five dollars is being knocked off the regular gate price to say thanks from promoter Ray Cook, the crew at Tri-County Race Track and Coca-Cola.
Also, the young race fans will be treated to the annual Back to School Nickel Night as 10,000 nickels will be dropped on the front-stretch during intermission. Gift cards and certificates will also be given away this Friday for school supplies.
Classes in action this Friday at Tri-County Race Track will be the Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Crate Late Models, Interstate Welding Modified Street, Street Stock, Pony and Modified Pony ($500-to-win). The pit gates open at 4:00 pm this Friday while the grandstand gates swing open at 5:00 pm. The driver’s meeting will be at 7:00 pm and racing will begin at 7:30 pm. Pit admission is $25.00 for this event.
Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Ga. won the last Super Late Model event at Tri-County Race Track back on July 30th as he rolled to the $3,500 payday in the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series-sanctioned Thursday Night Thunder event. Roberts went on to claim his first series championship two days later.
