Anyone know why Gilpin wasnt at this race ? I was exspecting him to run both late model & mod at this race .....

I think he lost the late model ride. The mods only had one night of points and he is chasing the national title with the mod.

I thought I saw a post on facebook that his late model motor was not back. that a new clements was on the way, so they werent going to make it to the N/S

He blew a head gasket at Portsmouth in the Late Model the week before. Did not get the new motor until late last week. He ran second at Putnamville on Friday Night and won at Montpelier in the Mod on Saturday.
