Will Bub even be there at all?

Hasnt raced outside the state of Mississippi all year. Plus, there is a MSCCS race that weekend, which I believe he is gunning for the series title.

Like always this list is so premature, its worthless.

If he don't blow a motor the week before I'd say that's a no brainir

Gustin's schedule is never up to date unless it's a week out...their PR has really slipped since he quit running full time USMTS stuff, wonder if the oil money is drying up or if they are just getting burnt out or even just slowing down a bit since he has a young family. He has been running the MLRA this year which is a lot less nights than his past schedule.

Nice gesture by Eldora track if you enter by August 31st $100 and a freebie $89 driver pit pass is included in that $100. After that date it's $125 and a driver pit pass is an additional $89.

Hey HoosierDirtFan, you got the purse all scrambled. :D

Looking at the payout from the year and last year; looks like they added $500 to each finishing spot in each race.

On the Gustin front, I see after a bit of Facebooking...that he and his wife just welcomed another life into this world. Probably why he isn't running a lot here recently. The MLRA is basically done for the year shy of a few races so we will see what he decides to run. I imagine he will at least be at Knoxville, seems its in his neighborhood.

Isnt it Seubert calf ranches? I'm not trying to be a smart@$$, you know me better than that lol. I could be wrong though. I could see where there could be confusion there.

So with eldora pretty much having all of the pre-entries I would think, has anyone made a list of the 20 drivers who didn't pre-register? And just a question but why would these drivers not take advantage of the huge price break?

I agree with the above statement.

I am simply stating that Jimmy John's has money and instead of throwing 10k or whatever he did to Weaver to run weekly around Illinois he could spare an extra 10k for Weaver to be relevant at the biggest dirt race in America. I never spend money that isn't mine but I do spend a hefty amount on kevin Weaver and Jimmy john's and I do believe that entitles me to reply on some forums on what I would like to see that sponsorship money go towards. Maybe I'm wrong. I support them I voted when I went through the drive thru and when I bought the shirt. All I'm saying is get this man to the world and give him a shot to make it. He makes the field and take the start money, Jimmy John's will take the profit of the t shirt sales and just maybe...make his money back on his investment. (If you couldn't tell I got butt hurt by that statement because I've worked hard my entire life and am not the one spending others money) end of rant I'll shut up now and you can continue with your life, thanks for reading. So because you spend your money Jimmy Johns and Kevin Weaver. Some how that entitles you to tell Jimmy Johns how to spend there sponsorship money. And to also tell Kevin Weaver where to go?

That is where I have a problem with dirt fans. You aren't entitled to anything. Spend your money how you see fit....... But until your name is almost visible on a race car you have no business telling anyone how to make a business decision.

Wow, I thought I used the words should. I could be wrong but the Jimmy John's cooperation wasn't sitting around someday and said Kevin Weaver, I believe that's where we will invest our sponsorship dollars. I do believe that is out of the main man's (or someone close to him) kind heart. I don't think Kevin somehow reaches enough fans on almost any level to make much money for the company. Kevin Harvick, yes. And you should really understand the role that customers opinions make on a company's decision to do things. Look at Arby's for example, until yesterday I have never received free food for going through their drive thru with my badge on, but yesterday the world goes to social media to bash them for what some worthless employee did that had nothing to do with them and bang every officer gets a free meal (I don't agree that some places give free meals to some professions as if they somehow are more important than others, why don't they teachers get a free meal? Back to my point). Same with insert every business/cooperation in America. What their customers want, they try to get them and why???? Because they want customers to continue giving the money they make every Friday buying their product. Your opinion may not entitle you to chit to that 16 year old behind the counter but to that millionaire behind the name it does. Now not on this level will I ever make a difference to see my driver get more money but I bet you if enough people requested a Jimmy john's car at the World. Guess what car would be at the World. I went off on the fact that I felt lumped into that group of people. I looked back at what I said and realized I should have said I wish jj should give more money to Weaver instead of saying he should. I should lobby at jj headquarters I live less than 5 minutes away but like you said I doubt I would do any good and may even hurt what good he does for Weaver. All I'm saying is he can't be providing Weaver with too much money, the man puts together his own motors, transmitions, and rear ends. Let's let this subject die. We are all huge fans of tlnot only the greatest sport in the world but the greatest sub culture of this sport.

Thanks for the wishes to stay safe and the thanks for my job but much like I don't understand why businesses give free food to police and firefighters, I learned a good lesson from one of my sociology professors while getting my BA in college. She said the most important job in all society, or at least one of the top in our society is the one Noone wants "the garbage man" she went on to say can you imagine what our life would be like if we didn't have someone to pick up our garbage and take it away? Yet Noone would thank that person for his/her job in the community. I was sitting there thinking man this Democrat may know what she's talking about... haha. My point is thank you for thinking of me and my fellow Officers but don't forget to thank the man/woman that picks up your garbage and the person that teaches your kid to add or the English teacher that failed to teach me grammer (sorry for the poor spelling and punctuation)

Not BBQ, but Ultimate series has a race this Saturday, and he's chasing (and likely winning) that $20K championship.

Cool deal...I don't blame him for staying home. Thanks for the info.

yeah, says it right there in black and white, "could" this was the post I was referring to dummy, now you and your childish remarks can continue, I don't need glasses, I see fine, and see that you still continue to do the same old crap, like I said, nobody said a word to you or about you but you just gotta step in and try to force everyone to see things your way ... as always

I thought he was pretty clear on which post he was referring too and why it wasn't appropriate.

If I was a sponsor, I wouldn't want anybody not affiliated with the team to tell me what to do with my sponsor money either.

Either way, it's off topic and you two should get a room.

Looks like it'll be a white ride for the most part this weekend. I like it.

I normally hate green on a race car, walkers cars always look great though.

I love how people are absolutely obsessed with getting birky and smith to race again .... It's their life and their money you don't get to decide for them

That obsession is pointless. You have to go with reality!!
