Conley Motorsports, Inc. Gears Up for Atomic Speedway WOOLMS Doubleheader
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) entered both Delmas and R.J. Conley in the 21st Annual 'Fred Dillow Memorial' on Saturday evening, August 15 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Delmas won his heat race in preliminary action, but overheating issues relegated the Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer to a disappointing eighteenth place showing in the $5,000 to win headliner. R.J. ran second to his dad in the heat race before suffering rear-end problems early in the 40-lap main event, which dropped the Wheelersburg, Ohio ace to a twenty-second place performance. All four CMI drivers (Delmas, Rod, R.J., and J.T. Conley) will converge on Atomic Speedway near Alma, Ohio on August 21-22 for a huge World of Outlaws Late Model Series doubleheader weekend. Two complete shows will thrill the fans in the Buckeye State this weekend, as an $8,000 top prize will be on the line on Friday night and $10,000 will be up for grabs on Saturday evening. The Conley’s have already racked up seven feature wins at Atomic Speedway in 2015 and will look to defend their home area against the national touring stars.
