CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour returns to East Tennessee with a pair of races at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, TN for Rounds 20 and 21 of the 2015 season on September 11 and September 12. The September 11 event will be 40 laps and $2,000-to-win, and the September 12 race will be 50-laps and $2,500-to-win.
These two races will be the first-ever visit at I-75 Raceway for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, and a homecoming for three of the top four drivers in the National point standings.
The two-time and defending NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Champion Ronnie Johnson is from Chattanooga, TN and the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Inductee is the current point leader in quest of his unprecedented third straight title. The “Chattanooga Flash” has one win this season.
Ryan King of Seymour, TN is second in the point standings, and has four top five finishes in his last five races, including two wins. King is also the Cruise With The Champions Rookie of the Year point leader. Matt Henderson of Loudon, TN is fourth in the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series point standings with one win this season, and he is second in the Rookie points.
