Ponderosa Speedway Off September 18; Pro Late Models $1,000 to win on Friday September 25

Junction City, KY-September 13, 2015- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson will have the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” idle one more week as there will be no racing on September 18, but will return to action on Friday September 25 with a full racing program that will feature Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models, Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds, Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks, Four Cylinders, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cyclones, while Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models will have the evening off and will not be in competition.

Ponderosa Speedway will present a full racing program of action on Friday September 25 that will see the Premier Integrity Solution Pro Late Models in competition in a 30 lap, $1,000 to win main event, while the Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds will also be in action, racing 20 laps for $800 to win in their main event. Joining these two divisions at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday September 25 will be the Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks racing 15 laps in a $400 to win feature event, Four Cylinders racing for $300 to win (seven car minimum) in a 12 lap feature contest, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cyclones will round out the racing card with a 10 lap, $100 to win main event. The Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models will have the evening off and will not be in competition. All divisions will utilize the practice/time trial combo format to determine heat race starting positions, except for the Four Cylinder and Mini-Cup/Cyclone divisions, as their heat race line-up will be determined via the pill draw. RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and transponder timing/scoring is used. Drivers will pick up their transponders at the driver registration window and drivers need to be signed in by the time of the drivers meeting at 7:00 p.m.

Of note, with the Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Model division racing for extra money to win there will be a $25 entry fee for the division and this does include the transponder rental fee.

Activities for the racing event at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday September 25 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., with practice laps set to start at 7:20 p.m., while racing will take the green flag at 8:30 p.m. All times are Eastern Daylight Times.
