Southern Nationals Bonus Series Readies for $25,000 Fall Classic at Ponderosa Speedway October 8-10

BRASSTOWN, NC (September 19, 2015)—The Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by Collins Signs and the Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY are both gearing up for largest event in the history of the track and the tour.
The 25th Annual Fall Classic will be ran on Thursday through Saturday October 8-10 and pay $25,000-to-win and
$1,000-to-start and will be sanctioned by the Bonus Series. This mega event kicks off with an open practice session on Thursday Night October 8th followed by Practice, Time Trials and Heat Races on Friday Night October 9th. On Saturday October 10, Last Chance races along with the 100-lap Fall Classic race will be ran. Entry forms are still available on the series and track website.
Before the tour heads to Ponderosa Speedway for the Fall Classic, the series will travel to Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC for the 12th Annual Tarheel 50 paying $3,500-to-win as the Southern Nationals Bonus Series makes their second and final appearance of the season to the Ray Cook-promoted track located minutes from Murphy, NC.
The Southern Nationals Bonus Series tire rule for Ponderosa Speedway on October 9/10 will be as follows: Hoosier 1300/1350/1600 and the American Racer 44/48/56. At each Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals, Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals and Southern Nationals Bonus Series event in 2015, the highest finishing CT525 engine in the main event will receive a $200 bonus and the highest finishing Steel Head/SPEC engine will also receive a $200 bonus.
