Ticket Prices & Event Schedule Released for $25,000-to-win Fall Classic 100 at Ponderosa Speedway October 8-10
BRASSTOWN, NC (September 22, 2015)—In just a few weeks, the Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky. will roar to life with the largest stock car event in the track’s storied history. The 100-lap $25,000-to-win Fall Classic 100 sanctioned by the Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by Collins Signs is set for Thursday/Friday/Saturday October 8/9/10.
Speedway officials have announced ticket prices and the event schedule for the mega-weekend.
Also in action will be the Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $5,000-to-win, the Crate Late Models racing for $2,500-to-win and the KDRA Super Stocks will race for $1,000-to-win in the Bobby Carrier Sr. Memorial race.
The Super Late Model Tire Rule: Hoosier 1300, 1350, 1600, LM40, Lucas 01, Lucas 03 and Lucas 06 are also allowed. The American Racer 44, 48 and 56 tires are also allowed. The Southern Nationals Bonus Series technical procedures apply. www.SouthernNationalsSeries.com . The Modifieds and Crate Late Models will compete under track rules while the Super Stocks will run under KDRA-sanctioned rules.
Super Late Model Purse 1- $25,000, 2- $10,000, 3- $5,000, 4- $4,000, 5-$2,500, 6- $2,000, 7- $1,800, 8- $1,700, 9- $1,500, 10- $1,000, 11- $1,000, 12- $1,000, 13- $1,000, 14-22 $1,000.
Thursday night there will be an open practice session from 7:00 until 10:00 pm.
Friday night will see preliminary action for the 25th Annual Fall Classic 100 as Super Late Models qualify and run heat races. Qualifying and heat races will also be ran for the Open Wheel Modifieds, Crate Late Models and the KDRA Super Stocks.
Last Chance races for all divisions will be contested on Saturday night along with the 25th Annual Fall Classic 100 feature events for the Southern Nationals Bonus Series Super Late Models, the Open Wheel Modifieds, Crate Late Models and the Bobby Carrier Sr. Memorial for the KDRA Super Stocks.
All Purses, Prices and Event Format are based on a Two-Day Program.
