Mike Harrison Masters Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Farmer City

Farmer City, IL-September 17, 2015- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series would return to action after a Labor Day weekend rainout with the make-up event at Farmer City, Raceway in Farmer City, IL and Mike Harrison of Highland, IL would etch another victory in what has been an extremely successful 2015 UMP DirtCar Modified campaign and claimed a $3,000 payday behind the wheel of the Rinderer Farms/FlexiCorps.com/Aggressive Graphics/Joe’s Racing Products/Steve Schmitt Chevrolet/AFCO sponsored #24H Impressive Race Car with a Faust Race Engine.

Harrison would take the checkered flag first in the make-up event at Farmer City Raceway, while Dirt Late Model veteran racer Kevin Weaver would settle for runner-up honors, with 18th starting and hard-charger award winner Lucas Lee claiming the final podium position with a third place effort. Ray Bollinger would finish in the fourth position, while Brian Lynn would complete the top five with a fifth place performance.

The remainder of the top ten at the completion of the Farmer City Raceway A-Main polesitter Allen Weisser, Jeff Curl, Jeff Leka, Danny Schwartz, and 22nd starting Chad Kinder.

In preliminary action, Mike McKinney was the Quick Car Racing Product top qualifier among 33 entries at 14.210 seconds. Summit Racing Equipment heat one went to Allen Weisser, while Josh Harris scored the win in Wiles Driveshafts heat two. Hypercoils heat three went to Devin Gilpin, with Kevin Weaver winning Frankland Racing Equipment heat four. The Out-Pace Racing Products B-Mains went to Dave Crawley and Lucas Lee.

The next event that was scheduled for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series was at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY on Saturday September 26, but that event has been postponed and a suitable make-up date is been looked at for the race. As of this time, the next tour event will be the Summit Racing Equipment AMS Season Championship event at Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Saturday October 24 that will pay $5,000 to the winner.
