I am really getting excited. We haven't gone since the World 100, so I'm really needing a fix. I've been planning on going to a few local shows between but the timing of the rain and my schedule have not been in sync. Although I'm baffled at the World of Outlaws guys not scheduling this race. What the Heck!

IMO This concept encourages more participants. This format has 78 drivers with the capacity to earn money. Make the Jim Dunn Memorial the undercard, and add a true non-qualifier event. SLM racing today is so expensive that the cost just to pull out of the garage is almost $1,000. Carl has been around for decades and he can certainly do what he wants but to keep the event growing some divergent thinking may be required.

I'm thinkin closer to 150. No other big shows "that I'm aware of" are going on this weekend. They will definitely have over 150 total cars (lates and mods) but no way on lates only. Love to c it tho! I'm gonna say around 90 lates. Like we said before, if the purse wasn't top heavy and was spread out more I think It could push 120 lates.
