Bobby Carrier, Sr. Memorial for American Dirt Allstars KDRA Super Stocks Now $2,000 to win at Ponderosa Speedway October 9, 10
Junction City, KY-October 3, 2015- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson is pleased to announce additional prize money that will now be paid for the Bobby Carrier, Sr. Memorial for KDRA Super Stocks at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday October 9 and Saturday October 10 as part of the track’s 25th anniversary edition of the Fall Classic at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring”. The American Dirt Allstars will now sanction this event and it will now be their final points event for the 2015.
CT Promotions in Somerset, KY has stepped up and added an additional $1,000 to the winner’s portion of the KDRA Super Stock Bobby Carrier, Sr. Memorial event will be contested as part of the 25th Annual Fall Classic on Friday October 9 and Saturday October 10. The 30 lap event will now pay $2,000 to win. Ponderosa Speedway would like to sincerely thank CT Promotions for its generosity and thoughtfulness for the KDRA Super Stock drivers in the area. There is a $20 entry fee for the event and that does include transponder rental.
Lawson Tractor Sales and Service American Dirt Allstars KDRA Super Stocks Bobby Carrier, Sr. Memorial (30 laps): 1st- $2,000, 2nd- $500, 3rd- $350, 4th- $300, 5th- $250, 6th- $225, 7th- $200, 8th- $175, 9th- $150, 10th- $140, 11th- $130, 12th- $115, 13th- $100, 14th- $100, 15th- $100, 16th- $100, 17th- $100, 18th- $100, 19th- $100, 20th- $100, 21st- $100, 22nd- $100 (all drivers starting a B-Main that do not qualify for the event will receive $20 tow money).
This event takes place as part of the 25th Annual Fall Classic at Ponderosa Speedway that will see it be the richest weekend of stock car racing in the 43 year history of the famed facility. The Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by Collins Signs Super Late Models will race for $25,000 to win, Modifieds will race for $5,000 to win, Pro Late Models will race for $2,500 to win, and now the American Dirt Allstars KDRA Super Stock will be racing for $2,000 to win.
The 25th Annual Fall Classic weekend will begin on Thursday evening October 8 with an open practice for all divisions that will take place from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. that evening. On Friday October 9, all four divisions will compete in practice, time trials, and qualifying heat race events. The weekend will conclude on Saturday October 10 with B-Mains for each division, followed the $25,000 to win Super Late Model A-Main, the $5,000 to win Modified A-Main, the $2,500 to win Pro Late Model A-Main, and the $2,000 to win Bobby Carrier, Sr. Memorial American Dirt Allstars KDRA Super Stock A-Main.
Ticket prices for the 25th Annual Fall Classic at Ponderosa Speedway on Thursday October 8 will be FREE in the general admission area, while a pit pass will be $15. For Friday October 9, general admission for adults will be $25, children ages 12 and under FREE, and a pit pass will be $35. For Saturday October 10, general admission for adults will be $40, children ages 12 and under FREE, and a pit pass will be $50. A two-day pass will be available for the weekend that can be purchased at the general admission and pit gates, with a two-day general admission ticket for adults $55, children ages 12 and under FREE, and a two-day pit pass for adults will be $70.
