I run an all steel 358 and we are allowed to run dry sump if we so choose. What are pro/cons of running a dry sump engine?

More HP due to the crank not whipping up the engine oil. Less front end weight if you place your oil tank in the right spot.

Much more reliable source of oil for your bearings.

Lower oil temps. The negative to a dry sump is if you hurt a motor it adds to the cost of replacement. The cooler has to be replaced ,pump has to be sent back for inspection, lines can be cleaned but should be replaced.Be sure to run a -16 line from the tank to the pump.A dry sump can pull a vacuum, so your venting will have to be rethought.
