Christopher Bell has a full time NASCAR truck series ride for 2016! Congrats to a very, very good young driver.

Christopher is just another in a long line of dirt open wheel drivers to get his shot at the fame and big money.

We wish him the very best and decades of success and championships in NASCAR but it's sad for those of us who love the excitement and great racing that dirt open wheel racing is known for to lose yet another great young driver. Can't blame him, though. Go get 'em Mr. Bell

Leading the most laps and winning the Eldora truck race probably solidified his status, as it should.

Keith Kunz sure knows how to pick 'em. Many of his drivers have gone on to NASCAR rides and I'm sure that will continue to be the case in the future.

This was in a National Speed Sport e-mail update today..

Bell, a 20-year-old native of Norman, Okla., earned a top-five finish in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Iowa Speedway in July and in just his third career start led 106 of 154 laps en route to victory at famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The open-wheel dirt standout began his transition to pavement racing late in 2014 running Late Models for KBM, where in 19 career starts to date he has recorded six victories, including the prestigious Rattler 250 at South Alabama Speedway in Kinston earlier this year.
