Ive always ran stainless steel braided hoses for my oiling system. Was thinking of going to the Startlite hose. I see its only rated for 20in vacuum and stainless is good to 28in. Is there anything better? Will startlite hoses work on the scavenge side? Thank u.

Don't run it from the tank to the pump.Mine was 36 inches from tank to pump.Switched over to the starlite and the first time we were on a big hammer down track it knocked the bearings out of the motor.Later on I heard of other people having the same problem.Sprint cars can run it because their tank is close to the pump.I run it on all other lines and I have seen it ran from tank to pump in a -16 where mine was a -12.I run a steel braided -16 now.

I used starlite hose for my whole system this year and we had no issues. Just make sure you use the spiral stainless insert for the vacuum lines to prevent them from collapsing.
