Rev Limiter Blue Printing New version for 2016

For the 2016 racing season the blue printing service will include an improved rpm tolerance and All adjustments will not involve anything attached to the back of the chip socket. Any racers wishing to have their current blueprinted boxes updated. May do so by calling Techwest Racing Services first.
Racers that need this done typically have a race car that hits the Rev Limiter by the time your half way down the straight. If their box is a common version it will be low somewhere between 150 to 250 rpm. This issue can be solved by having the Rev Limiter Blueprinted to the 1% Rule. This adjustment eliminates the low condition and puts the Rev Limiter box hitting the chip 20 to 30 rpm above whatever chip is being used. In house testing has shown that for every 100 rpm gained back. Will result in the racecar being one car length further down the straight before hitting the chip. Typical results during the 2015 season has shown most rev limiters hitting three quarters of the way down the straight.

The cost to have your box done $150, if the box is being upgraded from an older version $85.00. For those racers that would like to have a new box, we can provide a new rev limiter that has been adjusted for $260.00. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
