MBH Short J-Bar vs. Long J-Bar

Im hearing some of the "Faster" MBH drivers are going to the short J-Bar set up. Why would this be? More side bite in the slick? Would it take away from dive off or left rear drop? Just wondering if this is something that is being built or "ADAPTED" into the Mastersbilt chassis' by Billy and crew?

shorter=free entry, tighter off, longer=tighter entry,free off, thats the general idea
angle affects this too,grt's ran a 19 1/4 standard or change the tubes and you could run the 18 3/8,we ran the shorter on most of the time
