I am sending my 09 in for new front end due to damage, if updating to raised crossmember will my parts still fit? Is it worth the trouble? Has there been any more updates that can be done... Blue / wide front

Takes a different skid plate, well worth changing to the new style

Why ? Not arguing, just wondering. My 2010 wide rf blue still has normal cross member (I assume, I bought it used).

How can I tell if it's raised or standard ?

With the old style anytime the car is on the rf like it needs to be the cross member hits the track and you loose the front end. The new style cross member is a flat plate, the old style is a single tube. Before we had our cross member changed I hated my rocket, now I love it

Spend the time and money. It will keep cross member and front bumper out of the dirt. Best thing we did to our 08 blue car

Agree, it made the car much more consistent, we put decals on the skid plate and they were there all year. At full articulation in the shop the cross member does not hit the floor.

How much time and how much money should I expect to pay for this conversion ?

I wonder if Larry Shaw (listed as a rocket dealer) has a jig to do the job right. They are about 2.5 hours from me.

I might be wrong but I believe theres a shock package that goes with the cross member.

If you're in Arkansas, Bill Frye is who I would have do it, I know he has updated other cars.
