Got to see secondhand a video of him hauling the mail in the new car. Everyone needs luck, but the kid's got talent too. Go 99m

I don't think it matters what chassis Devon runs he has a great advantage over a lot of teams with Donnie. Donnie has kept them competitive in the MasterSbilt when very few could even make races.

Great guy and a great driver, stick him in any racecar, and he'll figure out how to win.

Devin himself said 2 new BWRC on the DoD interview.

I think In The Gas meant that he won't have a bright future in a BWRC, which I don't know enough about either one to comment.

Nothing wrong with those cars. Everything you need is there.

I'm a firm believer that you can make pretty much any modern car work for you if you do your homework.

That is 100% true, depending on your definition of modern. Some cars will take a little cutting and welding.

By modern I mean 3 years or less. Much older than that and they're all types of flexed out and changes won't have as much of an effect.

Didn't John Henry do an interview last week where he claimed success in a10 year old rig?

That doesn't necessarily mean that is has a lot of races on it. Also the number of races that a car can run and be successful is different from manufacturer to manufacturer and year to year.

An old square rail car from years gone by will outlast some of the newer flex joint cars 10 to 1.

A current Longhorn "appears" it would hold up quite a while. But for some reason, a lot of guys catch fire when it is brand new and slow down 10 races in.

The Gen X stuff from MasterS is criticized for not lasting all that long. I know of a Smack car that was still fast after 150+ races.

Seems like the Club cars slow down quickly as well

Who or what is a pope?

Tommy Pope supplied the two new Barry Wright race cars...... Still using his sponsors from last year, all of his own motors and truck and trailer. The way I read it on DoD is that Pope just supplied the cars.
