I'm rebuilding my rearend from a 3 link to a 4 bar. Would like to know what the spring angles need to be. In at the top angle and forward or rearward angle. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I would keep them as straight (Up and Down) as you can get and keep the angle to 10Deg in. All the angles just complicate the rates. Any angle less than 90 deg to the ground just decreases the advertised rate. My chassis has movable clamp on mounts at the top so you can play with standing the spring up or laying it down, depending on what you are trying to do.

I would lay the spring in a line with the center of the contact patch, the lower spring mount. Maintain that line and place the upper spring mount where ever it needs to go.

Make sure the upper mount are close to the same distances from the center line of the wheel track width. The top mounts close to the same distance from the tires might be a different way to say the samething.
