Beadlock vs non

How big much of a difference does the extra unsprung weight of a beadlock make. Never ran a beadlock on the left but I'm thinking of trying it just for the convenience.

Years ago we were racing on a very abrasive track.Our rear end was a 9'' factory disc out of a Lincoln.After a couple of months I cut the heavy factory stuff off and put lite weight brakes on, saving 10 lbs per wheel.Our tire wear got better and the car was faster.I've never seen that big of a difference by taking a bead lock off but I only run them when I have to.
