Landers did have a good yr but not good enough for 5th and Richards definately not good enough for 4th..... Pierce had a better yr than both...... Just my opinion....

As long as the subject is "drivers", as long as He stays behind the wheel, Bloomquist is the best driver.

Now, if you want to rank driver/racecar combo, then yes. Give it to Davenport.

Davenport CLEARLY had the best season this year.

No Brandon Thirlby? I thought he was the next best thing since sliced bread.

So Richards 10 national wins isn't good enough for 4th place???

Do you guys know how many national wins the guys in spots 5-10 have? How about how many they have all together? Here's hint the grand total isn't much more than 10.

The sport was dominated by 4 guys last year.

Top 4 won 25 of 41 features on the WoO series. They won 19 of 38 on the Lucas.

That's a total 44 out of 79. That's 55% of the national races. If I throw in Eldora and 2 races at Volusia. That's another 7 out of 11.

To me the top 4 is clearly ahead of everybody else. I can't buy the argument that Richards should be lower when nobody in the next 5 broke into double digits as far as national wins.

I agree husker but I will say one thing about Landers. He had a good year but also stepped up when it mattered and outran Richards at Knoxville in a surprising and fun to watch battle. I think winning that much on the national level is huge and thos top 4 were a cut above everybody else but I also think Landers should be considered around those top 4. 5-10 could be ranked in any order
